ResDiary Integration with Facebook & Instagram

ResDiary allows you to accept bookings via 'Reserve' button on  your restaurants social media business page like Facebook & Instagram. To integrate ResDiary with your Facebook/Instagram business page, please ensure some basic requirements are set up in advance for each venue you would like to set up, these include:
- Hold a  Facebook business manager account for at least one social network - a Facebook business page, or Instagram business page.
- Your Instagram should be linked to your Facebook account. 
- Facebook tracking pixel must be setup on your Facebook business page. 
- Person integrating with Facebook or Instagram login should be the owner of the business page or must be set up as a admin of the business manager account.
- Please ensure your restaurant has a valid listing on DishCult.com site. To edit the DishCult or microsite details of your ResDiary  account please go to Settings >> Venue & Microsite Details >> update the correct details or you may reach out to Table Plus Support team at support.tableplus@accorplus.com
Setting up the Facebook/Instagram Integration:
Step 1: Go to Settings >> Diary Configuration >> Click on Integration >> Click on Facebook/Instagram.

Step 2: Click on 'Connect with Facebook' button

Step 3: Redirected to Facebook authorisation page. Confirm user account in Facebook.

Step 4: Facebook will take you to an authorisation page to seek your venue’s permission. Click continue.

Step 5: Facebook will take you to the next page for selecting a Facebook pixel account to track the activity of your Facebook page. Click Continue if your Pixel account already listed there or you can create new account by click on 'Create New'
Step 6: Redirect to Confirm settings page. At the page, please select a few options (Facebook page, Instagram profile, Ad Account, Pixel account, etc.) and configure the settings accordingly. Then, press continue button to go to the next step.

Step 7: This page shows what ResDiary is able to do in terms of managing business extension. Once you press next, Facebook will take a while to load. Usually this may take a couple of minutes.

Step 8: Once Facebook finishes loading the integration, it will show you’re all set! page. Click on Done.

Step 8: Once you're done. A confirmation notification appear to you on your ResDiary.

Step 9: Now you go to the business page on Facebook or Instagram that you have connected and add the button and update the Reserve button. You are all set now.
When a diner clicks on the book now button on your social media business page, it will lead them to your Dish Cult listing, to complete their booking.

The booking channel for Facebook or Instagram will display on the booking summary.
