ResDiary pre-orders

The pre-order feature within ResDiary is available for restaurants to take menu orders in advance of booking arrival. This feature is available for all restaurants to use, as it does not require Stripe payments. You set up a promotion, with the additional step of adding a 'Menu'.

Pre-order menus are useful for group bookings, pre-theatre dining and for event menus.

How do you get set up?

  1. Build Your Pre-order menu
     

  • When building your menu you can create different styles - choose from set menu or a la carte. 

  • Make sure you set your menus to bulk order or invite guests to order.

  • Only use the cut-off time if you are taking advance orders. 

  • More than one restaurant but using the same menu? You can create one menu and share the same menu across your restaurants.

2. You must set up a promotion, then once the promotion is setup you can attach the pre-order menu (that you have loaded) to that promotion.

3. In the email confirmations, we need to ensure the pre-order wording is added. We also need to get the pre-order email templates loaded. The emails that are sent are Pre Order Required, Pre Order Required Reminder(optional), Pre Order Submitted
